Like men, women also use the basic preening gestures, like fondling the hair, adjusting their clothing, putting hands on hips, pointing their body towards the male, extending intimate gaze, having increased eye contact etc. All these signs indicate that the woman is ready for some kind of non-physical relationship or just a conversation. That is with the exceptions. Some people pull their hair, which could indicate child abuse, or physical abuse, since it is a nervous gesture.
In addition, women may illustrate a need for attention as their pupils dilate and cheeks start glowing. Various other signals from a woman for such a relationship could be like sideways glances, or looking into the mirror frequently, crossing and uncrossing of legs in front of a male, caressing their thighs or calf or knee etc. also another commonly seen gesture is the position of footwear. If a woman is sitting with a man and her footwear is delicately balanced on her toe then it indicates a higher level of comfort in his company.

Hip Rolling
This is one of the most commonly observable commercial gestures. It has been exploited by the models to gain attention on the ramp and in various advertisements, by movie stars and even by prostitutes to attract clients. This kind of an act is supposedly done by a female to increase her sex appeal. As a man acts out in such body language gesture, it indicates that he may be gay.
Wet Lips Gesture
Some females wet their lips or put a lot of lipstick to give a wet appearance to them. This clearly gives out a sexual invitation. Most of the prostitutes use this kind of gesture to attract males or clients. Still, this does not always represent a sexual invitation, since some females merely conform to keeping up their looks, or else dressing for business.
Head Toss
One can see this gesture resorted to by almost every woman. In this gesture, the woman flicks her head to toss her hair back over the shoulders or away from the face. Even women having short hair use this gesture in front of men. It clearly represents their interest in that man for some kind of a relationship.
Legs
Sexually aggressive women can be often seen with their legs more widely open than their more conservative counterparts can. This kind of gesture can be observed even in presence of a male around.
Along with the above-described gesture, there are other gestures that women make with their legs. The most prominent ones being the gestures of leg crossing. At what time a leg is tucked up under the other and the knee points towards the person with whom she is, it indicates her interest in that person. In this position, the woman may expose her thighs to steal the attention of the guy whom she finds interesting. The more desirous may intentionally uncover her thighs to give a clear-cut signal.
Another position, which indicates her relaxed state, is the way she plays with her footwear. Often a woman constantly keeps on playing with it by thrusting her foot in and out of it. Often women cross their legs in such way that they are not too far away and still enough to attract a man’s interest.
Although these are the general gestures of most women but none of them should be taken for granted and one must apply some common sense and logic before approaching a female for any kind of relationship based on observation of above-mentioned gestures in body language magic.
